Dr. Galian was raised in the New York area and completed his Bachelors of Science in Biology at Siena College, near Albany, NY. He completed his dental degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Masters of Public Health degree from Harvard University School of Public Health in 1993. At Brigham and Women's Hospital, Dr. Galian completed a general practice residency in hospital dentistry with a broad expsure to patients with a variety of medical conditions. From there, Dr. Galian went on for specialty training in endodontics from the University Health Science Center Dental School at San Antonio. He was in private practice for a couple years in Connecticut before coming to Austin in 1998.
Dr. Galian is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Capital Area Dental Society. He more than exceeds the minimum requirement for continuing dental education as dictated by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. He is licensed in Texas and Massachusetts.
