Dr. Erik Galian

Dr. Galian came from the Philippines as a toddler and grew up in Long Island, New York.  He completed his Bachelors of Science in Biology at Siena College, in upstate New York.  He received his dental degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Masters of Public Health  degree from Harvard University Chan School of Public Health in 1993.  Afterwards, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dr. Galian completed a general practice residency in hospital dentistry with a broad exposure to patients with a variety of medical conditions.  From there, Dr. Galian came to Texas to pursue specialty training in endodontics at the University Health Science Center Dental School at San Antonio. He went on to practice for a few years in southern Connecticut before arriving in Austin in 1998.

Dr. Galian is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Capital Area Society of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the local Capital Area Dental Society.  He more than exceeds the minimum requirement for continuing dental education as dictated by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.  He is licensed to practice dentistry in Texas and Massachusetts.

Personally, Dr. Galian has been married for more than 23 years, and is the father to two daughters, two dogs, and three cats.  He enjoys traveling, gardening, photography, and home improvement projects.  He is also a limited-time motorcar enthusiast and a fan of the San Antonio Spurs.
